The town of Sjöbo sits pretty much at the middle of the kommun that bears its name, and is surrounded by typical Skånska villages which can be discovered by bicycle… though watch out for the logistics riders, they can come around those country corners pretty fast!
Most Sjöbo residents would be the first to tell you there’s not a great deal to do out here; that’s the way they like it, too. But it’s fine countryside for walking or cycling—weather permitting, of course—and there’s the Vombsjösänken biosphere area over to the east, along with the lake from which it takes its name.
But Sjöbo’s worst-kept secret is that it’s the birthplace of wildgolf…
